Divemaster-led shore dives are at St Andrews State Park. The jetty wall in the park draws wildlife from both the estuary and Gulf, since it straddles the boundaries of both. Literally almost anything is possible to encounter here-- manatees transit the area, eagle rays soar over the rocks on the channel, goliath grouper patrol the boulders and almost every species of fish you can think of including frog fish sea horses and scorpion fish live and can be encountered here. The depths on these dives can range from 20' all the way to 70' depending on the experience and comfort of the divers. Due to the slow change in depth on the bottom and wide range of depths available, this is the best site for newer divers, Jr divers with depth limitations, and divers who have been out of the water for awhile.... as long as conditions are favorable. Conditions are best on this site during peak high tide, with minimal if any current and higher visibility. If you don't see availability of an excursion to the park on the date or time you want to go, its probably because the tides are not favorable for optimal conditions. Feel free to call us at the dive shop to discuss your options and preferences.
