Become a certified Scuba Diver. Online academics & 3 days of in-water training is all it takes to start the adventure of a lifetime.

Water training takes place either Mon-Wed or Fri-Sun. Weather, tides, and boat schedules may call for a different itenerary, but generally we try to have day 1 run from 8am-3pm, day 2 from 7am-Noon and day 3 from 7am-1pm. Our instructors will contact you to confirm the specifics the week of the class.

STEP 1 - Get Smart

Download the Medical Questionnaire to make sure you are healthy enough for scuba diving. This is a mandatory form for enrollment in any dive class. If you answer “yes” to any of the conditions, your physician will need to review and approve your form.

Start your Open Water Scuba Diver course and master all the important academic information online. You can complete this phase through self-study, at your own pace, in the convenience of your home or office.  All eLearning courses work on mobile and tablet devices too. We'll send you the access code as soon as we get your reservation so you can get started.

This means you complete all of the academic portion, including the exam, on your PC at your own pace and then This eliminates days of lecture; keeping costs lower and putting less of a demand on your precious time. STEP 2 - Get Wet

Schedule your in-water training with us when you are done with the e-learning. For entry-level certification courses (as well as some continuing-education classes), the next step will be to complete your in-water skill-development training. This takes place in a swimming pool or similar body of confined water, under the supervision of an SDI Instructor.

 

STEP 3 - Go Diving!

The final step is to complete the required number of SDI open water training dives under the supervision of your SDI Instructor. Here you will apply what you have learned during your academic and skill-development sessions, while learning practical lessons that can only be gained through real-world experience in open water.
